 On this International Women's Day, I want to look back on my experience as a woman- one that's been defined by both challenges and by growth. As girls we are often told to do things in a certain way like act a particular way, sit properly, to be polite, to look a certain way, etc. We are taught from a young age that to fit in this society you have to follow the expectations of this society like the way we dress, speak and behave with others. There have been always some limitations to whatever we do but this restrictions were not meant for the boys as if they could do anything and everything, like enter the house wherever they want or leave the house even at night.  The moment you step outside your home you also begin to feel the weight of society's expectations. January: The Month of New Beginnings✨

 January started on a New Year's note but I didn't make any resolutions and decided to just go with the flow. The New Year's Eve was very good as we went for the Exposition of St. Francis Xavier. It was a great experience visiting there. Later in the evening we visited the Star street of Agassaim which was wonderfully done and it was amazing. The new year also marked the starting of the college and I got to reunite with my friends after the Christmas break. One of my favorite moments was when my I and my sister went to the beach to watch the sunset. Watching the sunset at the beach was so calm. It was a peaceful time to forget about the day and just enjoy the beauty. We also had a much-awaited family reunion, a gathering filled with love, and countless memories. As the month went on, another highlight was the weddings I got to attend.
